About Telaga Waja Adventures
We are a rafting operator on the Telaga Waja River in Muncan, Karangasem, East Bali. Guests also know us as TWA.
The river we run
The Telaga Waja is one of the best places to raft in Bali. It flows through Muncan in Karangasem, about two hours from Kuta, and has the longest rafting route on the island: 14 to 16 km, which takes 2 to 2.5 hours to reach the finish point.
The rapids are lively, from Grade III to Grade IV, and the water is clear. Along the way you pass rock walls, rice fields, hills, valleys, cliffs and waterfalls, and near the end the raft drops about four metres over a dam.
Why guests choose us
Access is easy. The river is close to our start point, and the finish is close to our restaurant, so you do not have to walk down or up a lot of stairs.
Every guest is briefed and escorted by a professional rafting guide. The trip includes complete safety equipment (helmet, life jacket and paddle) and insurance. When you finish, our team has towels, showers and changing rooms ready, and we serve Indonesian food to round off the day.
How booking works
Online bookings and payments for Telaga Waja Adventures are handled by Family Trips Bali through its booking site, Rafting in Bali. You choose a date and a start time, pay online, and receive an e-voucher to show when you check in with us at the river.
